Raisins- How they're made

September 27, 2013  •  2 Comments

Living in the heart of California, I take for granted that some people don't realize where the food they consume comes from or how it's made. Over the next two years, I hope to capture many Central Valley harvests! If you eat Raisin Bran, Raisin Bread or anything with Raisins in it,

THIS is how they are made.

Cheers!

After a few weeks of soaking up the California sun...

Then they are rolled.

All rolled up.

Time to pick up the Raisins.

The full bins are dropped off..

and empties are loaded on the tractor.

All loaded up and ready to go back out.

Fantastic job capturing not only where & how our nature's candy comes about but, the back breaking work that goes into it all. I worked among those pictured my entire childhood; thank you for capturing the memory!
